derek and i are using blue ball jars to decorate the tables at our wedding (there, i told you a wedding "secret") so every time we go thrifting we keep out eyes peeled for decently priced jars.
i've found maybe 10 here and there. my parents found an amazing deal on ebay where a man sold a dozen for a great price. so we were slowly but surely finding enough for the wedding.
then on our way home from a trip to tennessee, derek and i stopped at a thrift store on the side of the road. there, we found:
30 blue ball jars for 2 or 3 dollars a piece!! i just about passed out. we bought every single one we could find.
now we are seven months away from the wedding and the centerpieces for our tables are halfway complete. so exciting!

Funny coincidence, I got engaged about a month before you did and we are using blue ball jars and other blue glass to decorate our tables too! Lol, great crafty minds think alike!! Happy Monday!! :)

Amazing! I just posted about three Ball jars that I found, ranging from 35-50 cents a piece! They are not in that amazing blue tint though, mine are much more plain. I love that yours have the original zinc lids too.
Come by and check it out sometime! http://sixballoons.blogspot.com/2011/06/vintage-ball-mason-jars.html
